The Knights of Columbus is the world's largest Catholic fraternal service organization. Founded by Michael J. McGivney in New Haven, Connecticut, in 1882. There are over 15,000 councils and 1.9 million members throughout the world. Membership is limited to practicing Catholic men aged 18 or older.
We promote the core principles of charity, unity, fraternity and patriotism through our local council, which has a strong relationship with St. Matthias Catholic Church in Crown Point, Indiana. Our meetings are held monthly at St. Matthias Parish.

Together as a parish community, we’ll pause, pray, and reflect on our faith along the way. All St. Matthias parishioners are invited to join. Please register.

Glorious St. Joseph, model of all those who are devoted to labor, obtain for me the grace to work in a spirit of penance for the expiation of my many sins; to work conscientiously, putting the call of duty above my inclinations; to work with gratitude and joy, considering it an honor to employ and develop, by means of labor, the gifts received from God; to work with order, peace, moderation and patience, without ever recoiling before weariness or difficulties; to work, above all, with purity of intention, and with detachment from self, having always death before my eyes and the account which I must render of time lost, of talents wasted, of good omitted, of vain complacency in success, so fatal to the work of God. St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle.
Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the Devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou,

thrust into hell Satan, and all the evil spirits,
who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen
